Is it good to lift weights and drink monster drink?

Ive been doing extreme weight lifting sessions while drinking monster energy drink, since monster has all those ingredients like sugar, sodium, caffeine and so on, is it bad for your muscles?

Monster is just plain old bad for you. It’s full of a bunch of horrible crap. Just a heads up, my friend just had to get gum surgery twice from drinking so much Monster.

    Do a comparison with another energy drink. there are healthy all natural energy drinks out there. send me an email and I’ll give you a link to one that a lot of proffessional bodybuilders are using!!!

    A lot of atheletic trainers are also using natural ones as well.

    It isn’t exactly bad for your muscles but it’s not good them either. A nutritionist told me monster is just glorified gatorade, plus caffeine is addicting, sugar gives you a crash so is not very productive for working out.

    If you need energy try eating a piece of fruit 30 minutes before working out.

    monster will proly get u focused but its proly not somethin specificly for weight traing, idk cuz i dnt drink it but if i were u id get a pre workout supplement. i take N.O. shotgun and it keeps me focused and the pump i get is amazing u can workout for hours on tht but i woudnt recommend workingout for hours for u might overtrain but it works tht good and all the reviews on it ppl say nothing but good things about it, i wouldnt recommend monster.

    It’s perfectly fine because it’s like Gatorade it just gives you energy. I worked out allot while drinking Monster (I freaking LOVE IT!) And I’ve actually lost more weight and gained more muscle! So Keep on drinking it!
